Interestingly, his given his backing to Mark Oaten, who hasn't yet declared, rather than Campbell, who has. I still don't see this as fatally damaging to Sir Menzies, but given how publicly loyal Opik was to Kennedy, perhaps his decison is the first overt hint that Campbell was less than supportive of his former Leader.
