A Glamour Tie for Motherwell?

If I've read Bert Kassies' site correctly, Motherwell, as an unseeded team in tomorrow's UEFA Cup draw, will be placed into a group of 10 for the draw, along with four other unseeded teams, and five seeded teams. Motherwell will face one of the seeded teams. From what I've pieced together - and this could be wrong - I believe that the five teams Well could be drawn against are:

AC Milan
Besiktas
Spartak Moscow
Hertha Berlin
Partizan Belgrade

Motherwell at the San Siro? If I've done the sums right, there's a one-in-five chance...

Oh, and in the Champions' League, Celtic look like they'll come either second or third in Group E - Man U are a shoo-in to qualify for the Knockout Stage as either first or second, Villarreal could come anywhere but 4th, Aalborg look like the minnows of the group, ensuring post-Christmas European football of some form for everyone else, and winning the group outright is a big ask for Celtic but second is a very real possibility.

UPDATE Well, I got the bundle of seeded temas correct, but Motherwell were up against a different group. One hopes that the 11 men of Motherwell will be able to put in a decent performance against the two women, Nancy and Lorraine.

I've been so brutally withdrawn from Scottish Football lately that I hadn't even realised M'well are in the Uefa Cup. Superb.

Um, Aalborg might indeed be "minnows", but the team they beat to make into the Champions League propers was FBK Kaunas. Who in the prior round had beaten....

Yep, a good draw for Celtic. 60% chance of making the next round if you ask me....

The ties are one-offs, either home or away. So the chances of Motherwell in the San Siro are one in ten.

But miracles do sometimes - almost - happen...

Scrub that previous comment: I was talking mince. I thought we were at the draw for the group stages already.

Motherwell... group stages... I should have known there was something awry in my calculations...
