I felt that the old scheme and the regulation template were due for a change, and I'm glad I switched to 'New Blogger' at the same time so I could play about with things a little more, so I'm experimenting with different styles. I've lightened the grey and I've replaced the yellow with a deep purple. Better? Worse? Relieved I'm not in interior design?
Tips welcome, though I will not be responsible for my actions if anyone suggests that I get hold of the Dulux colour chart. ;)
Perhaps the colour of purple could be lightened up a bit (although not so much that you can't see it at all), because on the smaller font sizes I think it's a bit difficult to distinguish it from the black text.

Please change the colour scheme back.. that golden yellow on battleship grey is hurting.. badly!

OK, purple lightened and a sort of pinky/purple used for visited links. It looks pretty clear on mine but that's not a fair test really.
